12:23 – Pairing. What is pairing?

Not two people sitting next to each other checking in with each other. It’s working together to develop new projects. No individual or pair owns a desk. They share a computer and keyboard. 

This pairing encourages 100% engagement because they both provide input and answers. 

They use whiteboard tables and walls with portable desks.

You don’t want to fail  your pair partner. So you are always looking for ideas to keep the project moving forward.  

What part of your company could benefit from a concept like pairing? Would it align with your values? 

Part that was tougher getting used to. 

Pairing can be exhausting – ‘cause you’re on the whole time you are there. But you are also very productive.
