Questions for this episode:
He talks about mindfulness and consciousness and the 7 levels of energy (see below) where do you fall most of the time? If lower, what can you do right now to shift one level higher? The levels are:
- apathy
- conflict
- responsibility – action cooperate and forgiveness
- concern for others – action compassion and service
- reconciliation
- joy and wisdom – not about winning or losing but being in the present and finding joy
- no judgement
We have areas in our life that limit our energy, he uses an acronym of GAIL. Which one of these blocks your energy most of the time? Are they true? Who can you turn to that will speak truth into your life?
Gremlins – Buttons that those around us put into us.
Assumptions – Because things have gone a certain way in the past, they may repeat.
Interpretation – An opinion or judgement that you believe to be true.
Limiting beliefs – the beliefs you carry through life hold you back.
I’ve been asking for reviews of the podcast. While this is still important, my new call to action for listeners and readers is to subscribe to the podcast in iTunes or Stitcher. Last week I mentioned that I would have a drawing when I reached 100 subscribers. This isn’t an easy number to get at this point. Right now, downloads will be my key measure. I’m currently sitting at 51 per episode. When they hit an average of 200, I’ll have a drawing for a book on this topic.
If you’re already subscribed, thank you and share this with as many of your peers who you believe would benefit. If you’re not subscribed, click this link to go to the Inspired and Intentional Podcast page on iTunes.
Join me next week as James talks about ways to overcome these GAIL energy blocks. Thank you so much for listening and until next time, be inspired and intentional.

Podcast worldview:
Gallup says 70% of US employees are disengaged from their work. This causes, what Ari Weinzweig calls an energy crisis in the workplace. Lost innovation, productivity and profits. Not to mention the tolls on the communities.
There are companies and organizations working to improve this. they are creating more open and collaborative work environments. They are realizing that treating people with dignity and providing meaningful work can be done while also running a financially solid organization.
My hope with this podcast is to inspire leaders, entrepreneurs, and those coming into leadership through transition, to make intentional choices to balance profit and social impact.
